Knitting 103: Working in the Round

This class is part of our new Knitting Skill Builder series. It is designed to go along with Knitting 101: Cast On & Knit and Knitting 102: Purl & Bind Off. 

In this session, instructor Shelly Diaz will guide you in learning the basics of the English Method of knitting, including:

• How to knit in the round using a circular needle.
• Ribbing
• Increasing
• Decreasing

Prerequisites: Participants must know how to cast on, how to work the knit stitch, and how to work the purl stitch. To learn these, see our Knitting 101: Cast On & Knit and Knitting 102: Purl & Bind Off classes.

Materials: (Materials are not included in the class fee. Kits will be available.)

• Worsted weight smooth light-colored yarn
• US 8/5mm 16" circular knitting needle
