Join us this Fall as shop owner and instructor, Shelly Diaz guide us in learning how to knit the Step by Step Cardigan by Florence Miller. This pattern is a classic raglan cardigan, perfect as one of your first knitting projects. It is knitted from the top down, and the sleeves are knitted in the round. The simple design is finished with clean double knitted edges.
The class will be a total of 4 sessions.
Dates:
- Saturday, Sept 12 1-4pm
- Saturday, Sept 26 1-4pm
- Saturday, Oct 10 1-4pm
- Saturday, Oct 24 1-4pm
Prerequisites: Participants must know how to cast on, knit, purl, and how to do increases/decreases. Learn how in our Learn to Knit Series.
Sizing: The sizes are designed to fit a natural bust measurement of (30, 34, 38) (42, 46, 50) (54, 58, 62) in with approximately 6 in of positive ease.
Yardage needed: Approximately (766, 875, 1039) (1094, 1203, 1258) (1312, 1422, 1531) yds.
Materials: (not included) Students get a 10% discount on material for class.

4mm, 4.5mm, 5.5mm circular needles or size need to obtain gauge.
- Gauge is 16 st and 21 rows per 4" in stockinette
Class Prep:
Class members are expected to complete a gauge swatch before the first class session. Instructions will be emailed 1-2 weeks prior to the first session.
