About Denton Yarnworks

Denton Yarnworks is dedicated to fostering a vibrant fiber arts  community. Our cozy space is your third place, a comforting retreat to create, learn, and connect.

Visit Us Today

Denton Yarnworks began with Shelly Diaz, a passionate yarn enthusiast whose journey into fiber arts started at a young age. Inspired by her grandmother Ida, who lovingly passed down her love in the form of knitting and sewing, Shelly soon found herself creating custom knits and dreaming of a cozy community space for fellow crafters. Denton Yarnworks was born from that dream: creating a welcoming local yarn store with Ida the Sheep, our beloved mascot who honors Grandma Ida’s legacy and her love of fiber arts.

Today, Denton Yarnworks is more than a shop; it’s a vibrant community hub where creativity, friendship, and craftsmanship thrive together in the heart of Denton. Come visit us, share your projects, and find your own inspiration among fellow makers!
